St. Joseph Chapel & the Shrine of the Immaculate Mary (400 South Blvd. W., Pontiac, MI 48341) will be CLOSED June 23-July 4 for summer break.
We RE-OPEN on First Friday, July 5. First Saturday is July 6.

The Our Lady of the Cape Pilgrim Statue is visiting the U.S. for the first time and our shrine is its first stop Friday, July 12—Saturday, July 13. Our Lady of the Cape is the Queen/Madonna of Canada, with the original statue in Trois Rivieres (“Three Rivers”), Canada. In 1947, through this SAME STATUE, the Blessed Mother spoke to Fr. Jarzembowski at the Marian Congress in Ottawa telling him to establish a shrine in Pontiac, Michigan. So 77 years later she is visiting HER shrine! The schedule is below:
FRIDAY, JULY 12
- 3:00 pm Doors Open & Exposition
- 7:00 pm Rosary & Introduction
- 7:30 pm Holy Mass
- 8:30 pm Blessing of Roses & Consecration
- 9:00 pm Reception
- 9:30 pm Exposition & All-Night Adoration
- 10:00 pm Night Prayer
SATURDAY, JULY 13
- 9:15 am Benediction
- 9:30 am Holy Mass
- 10:30 am Holy Rosary
- 11:00 am Close
(There is NO NOON MASS.) COME and gather under our Blessed Mother’s protective mantle!
