Tomorrow, November 21, is the liturgical Memorial of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (in the Temple). It’s a most interesting celebration about Mary living in the Jerusalem Temple for 10 years. Some seminarians will join us to honor our Blessed Mother.
We will be CLOSED the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, November 26. We will be OPEN the day after Thanksgiving—Friday, November 28 (and that Saturday). Please mark your calendars.
Please know how much Mass Intentions help us operate our shrine, especially since we don’t engage in any formal fundraising. Thus, even when we are closed (such as Christmas Break), Mass Intentions are always welcome. You may mail them in, text me and mail in the donation, leave them in our friary mailbox (St. Joseph Friary) or any other way that works.
We are helping the National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica promote their Lourdes Pilgrimage Virtual Experience event on Friday, December 5. The link for the event flier is HERE.
The Schedule is the following:
(5:30-6:15 PM) Confession
(6:30-7:00 PM) Mass
(7:00-9:00 PM) Lourdes Virtual Pilgrimage Experience (includes touching the Lourdes Grotto rock and blessing with Lourdes water, rosary, Exposition, offering prayer petition to be taken to Lourdes, France.
(9:00 PM) Anointing of the Sick for those Catholics who desire the Sacrament
