On this Memorial of St. Augustine whose charism and spirit Pope Leo XIV, an Augustinian friar, lives, we are reminded that wisdom from God should guide our lives.

We will CANCEL our Evening for Vocations (held on Third Thursdays) for the rest of the year.
Tomorrow, Friday, August 29, is the Memorial of the Death of St. John the Baptist.
Entering September, the Month of the Sorrowful Mother, next week we will observe our 3 “firsts”: First Wednesday (Sept. 3), First Friday (Sept. 5) and First Saturday (Sept. 6).
We will open with our normal hours on Monday, Sept. 8, for the Feast of the Birth of Mary—the dawn of our Redemption in Christ.
Our Genesis Bible Study (chapters 12-50) will be on Saturdays, Sept. 13 and Saturday, Sept. 20, 1:00-3:00 pm in the Lower Level. The textbook we will be using is Curtis Mitch and Scott Hahn, The Book of Genesis, Ignatius Catholic Study Bible. I have one copy left ($20.00).
