Dear Friends,
During June, the month of the Sacred Heart we will be able to display our repurposed statue of the Sacred Heart of Jesus at St. Joseph Chapel (400 South Blvd. West, Pontiac, MI 48341). It will be on display near our altar.
First Friday is tomorrow, June 4. The First Friday during the month of the Sacred Heart is a special opportunity to re-consecrate yourself to Our Lord who became one of us to save us.
First Saturday is this Saturday, June 5. Come to re-consecrate yourself to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and perhaps entrust your summer plans to her motherly guidance. Mass on this day WILL NOT BE OUTSIDE but inside as normal.
The Solemnity of the Sacred Heart is next Friday, June 11. We WILL BE OPEN for this great feast to honor, celebrate and adore Our Lord Whose Heart is the outstanding symbol of His incarnate love for us.
The signature feast of our shrine historically has been the Immaculate Heart of Mary which falls on Saturday, June 12. We will make it a special day for our Blessed Mother and for you. (More information forthcoming.) Come, and seek the protection of the Immaculate Heart in these dark times, and she will keep you close to her Son and grounded in Divine Truth.
