Reminder: tonight at the Church of the Transfiguration (25225 Code Rd., Southfield, MI 48033), there will be a 7:00 pm Holy Hour & Mass for the Unborn, followed by a reception. Let’s fight for the unborn, and more precisely let’s fight for the conceived, since birth has nothing to do with personhood that comes at conception.
St. Joseph Chapel & the Shrine of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (400 South Blvd. W., Pontiac, MI 48341) will be OPEN tomorrow at the normal hours (Mass at Noon) for the Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary. The Holy Rosary will follow Mass.
Our Rosary Rally will be held this Saturday, October 11. It will be outside in front of St. Joseph Friary (not Chapel). It will begin at Noon. Mass will follow at about 12:30 pm.
After Mass on Saturday (not after the Rosary) I will give a talk on Christopher Columbus: “Christopher Columbus: Devout Catholic and Franciscan Tertiary.” His discovery (from the European perspective) of the New World, of America, was very much a Catholic discovery. Keep in mind that Columbus Day is the following Monday, October 13.
To communicate with me, please email me directly at abunaalex@yahoo.com or call/text me at (313) 727-9784. Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us!
In Jesus, Mary & Joseph,
Fr. Alex Kratz, OFM
