In the afterglow of Divine Mercy Sunday we have a lot of “mercy” coming our way in the remainder of this week.

This Thursday, May 1, is the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker. We will be OPEN at the regular hours.

This Friday is First Friday, May 2. Mercy emanates from the Sacred Heart who offers us forgiveness and a deeper relationship of love with Him.

This Saturday is First Saturday, May 3. St. Maximilian Kolbe said that the “entire order of mercy has been entrusted to the Immaculata” (the source of mercy is from the Holy Trinity). As the Immaculata Mediatrix she can obtain great graces of mercy from her Son and the Most Holy Trinity—so let’s go to her.

This is a good week to pray for our next pope. The conclave begins on May 7—so let’s begin our prayers now.

Tonight is the last night of the parish mission I am leading at St. John Fisher Chapel University Parish (3665 E. Walton Blvd, Auburn Hills, MI 48326—near Oakland University). After the 6:00 pm Mass my talk at 7:00 pm will be “The Bathing of Souls: Jesus’ Ongoing Mercy in Confession”. At 7:30 pm or so Confessions will start with 6 PRIESTS AVAILABLE to hear Confessions. So DIVINE MERCY CONTINUES to pour forth for us if we avail ourselves of it. May the Risen Lord Jesus Christ guide you in all your activity!

To communicate with me, please email me directly at [email protected] or call/text me at (313) 727-9784. Risen Redeemer, Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us!

In Jesus, Mary & Joseph,
