At St. Joseph Chapel (400 South Blvd. West, Pontiac, MI 48341) we now have more Epiphany Water available, though the supply is limited. It is the most powerful Holy Water the Catholic Church offers.
Tonight is our Third Thursday Mass and Holy Hour for LIFE. Doors open at 6:30 pm with Exposition. At 7:00 pm we have Holy Mass followed by a Holy Hour with the Rosary. Come pray for LIFE!
Beginning this Saturday, Sept. 23, I will begin “20/20 Catechesis” for 6x’s this year as we spend only 20 minutes going through the Catechism of the Catholic Church after we pray the Rosary in chapel. We meet in the Lower Level. This is meant to be a simple and direct exposure to the Catechism—which is an “authoritative exposition of the one and perennial apostolic faith” and a “sure and authentic reference text for teaching Catholic doctrine.” (CCC Introduction) The Catechism is proof that Jesus is still with the Church, constituting perhaps the single largest contemporary proof that Christ’s promise to the Church has not failed and will not fail. We will proceed briskly given our brief 20 minute allotment. The other dates are Sept. 30, Oct. 21, 28, Nov. 18 and Dec. 16.
Our Healing Service is on the Last Friday of this month, Sept. 29 and next, Oct. 27. Doors open at 6:30 pm with Exposition. We begin at 7:00 pm with a Holy Hour, then Healing Prayer Teams while Confession is available throughout.
