Monday, March 20 is the Solemnity of St. Joseph—Patron of the Universal Church and of Terra Sancta Ministries and the namesake of our little chapel. (The feast is transferred from its usual date of March 19 because it falls on a Sunday this year.) We will follow our normal schedule: doors open at 10:30 am with Exposition, 11:00 am Confessions, our Solemn Holy Mass at Noon followed by a blessing with a relic of St. Joseph and the praying of the Novena & Consecration Prayer to him. A simple reception will follow in the Lower Level with time for fellowship, individual veneration of his relic (we have more than one) and a short talk by Fr. Alex. Come and develop a deeper relationship with this loving spiritual father of ours who can help us with our every need.
A Healing Service will be held on Thursday, March 30 at 7:00 pm. It will consist of a Holy Hour with Exposition, the praying of the Holy Rosary and Benediction followed by the option of being prayed for by Healing Prayer Teams. Most importantly, Confession will be available throughout with 2 priests being available. Fr. Alex will bless anyone who wants it with the relic of the True Cross and a priestly blessing.
On Friday, March 31 (the Friday before Good Friday) we will have an OUTDOOR Stations of the Cross at 8:00 pm on our new outdoor Stations walkway. (We will still have our normal Noon Mass followed by the indoor Stations of the Cross earlier that day.) It is a great way to observe the Last Friday of Lent, to prepare for Holy Week and to really meditate on the Passion of Jesus who Himself did the first “outdoor” Stations of the Cross on Good Friday.
Every Third Thursday we hold a Mass & Holy Hour for Life. This month it falls on March 16. Doors open with Exposition at 6:30 pm, Mass at 7:00 pm and a Holy Hour to follow (about 8:00 pm). As the pro-abortion forces pour millions into Michigan we are interceding for a culture of life in our state and to be strengthened to fight the good fight of faith against overwhelming odds. Jesus Christ, our Lord of Life, will not abandon us!
Epiphany Water is still available. It is the most powerful Holy Water the Church has (except water blessed by a bishop) and is highly recommended for dealing with demonic disturbances.
