Dear Friends,

Tomorrow, January 7, is First Saturday—the first one of our new year. Come, and be part of Heaven’s Peace Plan as we anchor ourselves in the Immaculate Heart of Mary to faithfully do God’s will in our lives. We open at 10:30 am with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Confessions at 10:45 am, Noon Mass, followed by the Holy Rosary and 15 minutes’ reflection on the Mysteries of the Rosary (as Our Lady of Fatima requested).

Starting today, First Friday, January 6, Epiphany Water will be available for a donation. (We will also have our normal schedule of Confessions, Rosary & Mass with Sacred Heart devotions after Mass.) It is the most powerful Holy Water the Church offers. It can only be blessed on the traditional Epiphany date and in Latin since the blessing is from the Roman Ritual. It is highly recommended for situations of demonic disturbance (hence, it is for blessing not drinking) and for protection from such. If possible, bring your own container. Only moderate amounts per person will be available.

The meetings for Fr. John Hardon’s Basic Catechism Course (from the Marian Catechist Apostolate) will begin January 11 at St. Joseph Chapel. There will be two meetings per month at the Chapel while studying for the course is done at home. Please contact certified Marian Catechist, Paul Ameye (586-604-7542 or [email protected]), as soon as possible to take part in this challenging study course about our Catholic Faith.

To communicate with me, email me directly at [email protected] or call/text me at (313) 727-9784. Holy Magi, pray for us!

In Jesus, Mary & Joseph,
Fr. Alex Kratz, OFM
