This is a reminder that we will hold First Saturday this Saturday, June 4 at the St. Hugo of the Hills’ Parish Stone Chapel from 10:00 am-12:30 pm. (We will also do so for First Saturdays on July 2 and August 6.) The schedule is the following: 10:00 am Confessions; 11:00 am Mass, followed by the Rosary and 15 minutes reflection on the Mysteries of the Rosary (as Our Lady of Fatima requested).
Please bring any Mass Intentions to First Saturday. They are enormously helpful to sustaining the shrine and Terra Sancta Ministries, especially while the shrine is closed. Please keep praying for our renovation—construction IS proceeding—and prayerfully consider a “renovation donation.” As you can imagine, costs increase simply due to the nature of our economic and supply chain situation.
The Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, June 25 will be held at the same location and times as our First Saturdays. We remember that to His holy Mother and her Immaculate Heart, world peace has been entrusted.
The last of three sessions of Marian Apologetics will be held in St. Hugo’s parish hall from 10:00 am-11:30 am on Saturday, June 18. We have extra copies of our textbook, Beginning Apologetics 6: How to Explain and Defend Mary (San Juan Catholic Seminars) by Father Frank Chacon & Jim Burnham, available for $10. These will be available this First Saturday.
