Dear Friends,
The shrine will CLOSE Monday, May 2 due to renovation construction.  It will remain closed until further notice—perhaps mid-August.

During the closure First Saturdays from May to August will be held at the St. Hugo of the Hills Stone Chapel (May 7, June 4, July 2, August 6) from 10:00 am-12:30 pm.  We will also hold the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (June 25) there (same hours).

Saturday, April 23, at St. Joseph Chapel (400 South Blvd. W., Pontiac, MI) we will show a movie produced by Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC: “The Rosary: Spiritual Sword of Our Lady.”  Mass is at Noon, followed by the Rosary and then the movie (shown in the Lower Level).  It lasts just under 2 hours.  One priest said “This is the most thorough presentation on the Holy Rosary I have ever seen!”

Our speaker for Divine Mercy Sunday (April 24) is Jim Miller, Lay Apostle of Divine Mercy.  He will provide free booklets for his talks.  Please note that MASS IS AT 1:00 PM ON SUNDAY (not Noon).  The schedule is as follows:

(11:00 am) Exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament & Procession with the Divine Mercy image.
  • (11:30 am-1:00 pm) Confession:
(11:30 am) Talk: Jim Miller
(12:30 pm) Rosary:
(1:00 pm) Holy Mass: Fr. Alex Kratz, OFM
(2:15 pm) Exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament
  • Relic of St. Faustina: Veneration & Blessing
  • (2:20 pm) Talk: Jim Miller
(3:00 pm) Hour of Mercy: Chaplet of Divine Mercy & Eucharistic Benediction

The Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima from the World Apostolate of Fatima in New Jersey WILL be coming to St. Joseph Chapel from Saturday, April 30 to Sunday, May 1.  This statue travels internationally.  This is a great grace for us since we are a Fatima shrine.  We will have all-night prayer during that overnight.  PLEASE COME!  MANY GRACES WILL BE POURED from visiting her!  We will also show Fr. Calloway’s movie again sometime on Saturday, April 30.

To communicate with me, email me at [email protected] or call/text me at (313) 727-9784. God bless you!
