All the following events will take place in St. Joseph Chapel (400 South Blvd. West, Pontiac, MI 48341).
On Wednesday, October 27 it will be Terra Sancta Ministries’ turn to host the Eucharistic & Rosary Triumph Tour of CEMA (Coalition of Eucharistic & Marian Apostolates) to an international audience. During the day, our normal schedule will prevail: 10:30 am doors open, 11:00 am Exposition & Confession, Noon Mass, 1:30 pm close.
In the evening, we invite you to view the “Bridge of Roses” movie (no prior reservation is needed). It is a professionally produced docudrama of Our Lady of the Cape—the Queen of the Holy Rosary and Queen (Madonna) of Canada. It is truly an inspirational story of the spiritual renewal the Rosary brought about in the lives of Canadian Catholics. The movie only covers events in Canada, but that story continues at our Pontiac shrine. From Fr. Jarzembowski’s mystical experience in front of Our Lady of the Cape at the 1947 Marian Congress in Ottawa, Canada to the formal establishment of the shrine on June 20, 1948 when Auxiliary Bishop of Detroit, the Most Rev. Stephen Woznicki, blessed the new Our Lady of the Cape statue that was enthroned on the side altar (where she is today in St. Joseph Chapel). “From Canada to Pontiac”—the Blessed Mother is bringing us closer to Jesus, especially through her Rosary!

Thursday, October 28 is the payment deadline for Scott Hahn’s Bible Study textbook, Understanding the Scriptures. Cost is $50.00. (You may purchase it on your own.) The book will be available the first night of class. Please make check payable to “Terra Sancta Ministries.” Please make it clear who the book(s) is for and provide a phone number for contact purposes. All teachings will be held in the Lower Level. The 2021 dates are Nov. 9, 23, Dec. 7 and 14. The 2022 dates are Jan. 11, 18, Feb. 8, 15, March 15 and 22 . Come learn about God’s unfolding plan of salvation!
