Dear Friends,
On Friday, September 24, at St. Joseph Chapel (400 South Blvd. West, Pontiac, MI 48341), Fr. Thanh Nguyen, LC, gave a fine talk, “Understanding Angels & Demons”.  The link for the video is  https://youtu.be/N0uU9J38cpQ.
All the following events will take place at St. Joseph Chapel.
First Friday is October 1—the Feast of St. Therese of Lisieux, “the Little Flower.”
First Saturday is October 2—the Feast of the Guardian Angels.  October is the Month of the Holy Rosary, and the angels can help us pray with fervor and daily fidelity.
Monday, October 4, St. Joseph Chapel will be open for the celebration of St. Francis of Assisi—a solemnity for Franciscans.  We will have normal weekday hours (open at 10:30 am, 11:00 am Confessions, Noon Mass, the Franciscan Crown after Mass, close at 1:30 pm).  Come honor one of the greatest evangelists of all time!
And finally, on Thursday, October 7, we will celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary.  We open our doors at 6:30 pm with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, 7:00 pm Mass, followed by praying the Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary and special Reflections on these mysteries.  Keep in mind that the new movie, “Bridge of Roses,” which is the story of Our Lady of the Cape, the Queen of the Holy Rosary, will debut on that day and can be rented or bought through our website.  This debut is in honor of the 450th Anniversary of this great Marian feast that began with the miraculous Rosary-inspired victory of Catholic naval forces over the superior Muslim Ottoman at the 1571 Battle of Lepanto.  Our Lady, through the Holy Rosary, saved Europe from a Muslim invasion—pure and simple.  St. Joseph & Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us!
To communicate with me, email me at [email protected] or call/text me at (313) 727-9784. God bless you!
