St. Joseph Chapel & the Shrine of the Immaculate Heart of the Mary will be CLOSED TOMORROW due to the winter weather.
Friday, December 12 is the liturgical Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We will have a solemn Mass and a reception to follow with homemade tamales and other good food. If you can RSVP (texting is best—see below) me that you are coming, that helps us have an idea of the head count. I will give a short talk during the reception on this amazing divine intervention.
On Saturday, Dec. 13 & Dec. 20 I will provide catechesis on the Last Things: the so-called Rapture (what is the Catholic understanding of it), the New Israel (the Catholic Church) or the modern State of Israel, the supposed “Millennium,” more on the Antichrist, etc. I hope to provide handouts.
From Dec. 21-30 we will be CLOSED.
On Wednesday Dec. 31 we will have a 4:00 pm Vigil Mass for Mary, Mother of God—a Holy Day of Obligation. We will open at 3:00 pm.
On Thursday, Jan. 1 we will be OPEN (normal hours like above) for this foundational Solemnity and Holy Day of Obligation for Mary, Mother of God.
