Tomorrow we begin the month of September—the Month of the Sorrowful Mother. This week, we have all 3 “firsts”: First Wednesday to honor St. Joseph (Sept. 2), First Friday to honor and adore the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Sept. 4), and First Saturday to honor the Immaculate Heart of Mary (Sept. 5). “We have the certainty that in this [Immaculate] Heart, as in the Tower of David, we are in an invincible fortress against which the assaults from Hell come ….” (Fr. Francesco Bamonte, The Blessed Virgin Mary and the Devil in Exorcisms, 52). Our dearest Mother, the Virgin Mary, as the perfect ally of God and the greatest enemy of the Devil, always leads us to Jesus and His Sacred Heart.
September 5 is the deadline for registration for the EVENING EVENT we have on four Tuesdays of September. On the Tuesdays of September 8, 15, 22, 29, from 6:00-8:30 pm, will have the following:
- (6:00 pm) Mass in St. Joseph Chapel (ONLY for those registered)
- (6:35 pm) Meal in Lower Level (ONLY for those registered)
- (7:20-8:30 pm) Marian Catechesis on the abovementioned Bamonte book (one of the best books on Our Lady I’ve ever read) in Lower Level. Bamonte is one of the leading exorcists in Italy.
The cost is $45.00 for the textbook and the 4 meals & 4 classes. I CAN EMAIL A FLIER on this upon request. The FLIER IS ATTACHED. Understanding this book will help us understand Fatima prophecy of the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary when Jesus will reign as King over all the earth. This year is the Jubilee Year of St. Francis of Assisi in commemoration of the 800th Anniversary of his death (Oct. 3, 2026—his feast being on Oct. 4). We will have an OUTDOOR Sunday Mass on October 4 at Noon to celebrate this. A Franciscan Rosary Crown will be prayed (outside) at 11:30 am, Mass at Noon followed by an outdoor FREE Reception. Pope Leo surprised as the first pope to recognize this anniversary. May we too, like “il Poverello” (the “little poor man” of Assisi) be a model of charity, zeal for the Faith and peacemaking.
