Tomorrow, March 25, at St. Joseph Chapel & the Shrine of the Immaculate Heart of Mary (400 South Blvd. W., Pontiac, MI 48341) we will celebrate the Solemnity of the Annunciation which commemorates how God became our brother through Mary.
This Friday, March 27, is the last Friday of Lent when we will pray the Stations of the Cross. (The Rosary will be before Mass at 11:30 am.) We will pray the Marian Stations of the Cross as we will prayerfully hear about Jesus’ sufferings through the eyes of our Blessed Mother.
This Saturday, March 28, the Legion of Mary from around Michigan will be visiting our Shrine for their Acies Meeting. THIS IS NOT A PRIVATE EVENT. We will be open to everyone and will follow our regular schedule, even as the Legion will pray publicly their own set of prayers.
OTHER COMING EVENTS …
- (April 3) Good Friday: We will be CLOSED.
- (April 4) Holy Saturday: Confessions at 10:30 am for as long as need. No Mass.
- (April 12) Divine Mercy Sunday: We will be OPEN with a full day’s schedule. Mass at 1:00 pm. Steve Mateja will be our speaker, presider and preacher.
